Toxic effects present thirty minutes after ingestion. High likelihood of the substance having been mixed with the tea the victim was drinking, but no sample could be obtained for testing.
搜査記録服毒は2月21日午前1時30分頃と推定される。昏睡時の衝撃で破損したと思われる《懐中時計》の時刻により特定。なお、事件現場から《毒物》の容器はいっさい、発見されず。	Investigative Conclusions The poisoning incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on 21st February. (Assessed from the victim's pocket watch that appears to have broken when the man collapsed after the delayed onset of symptoms.) No container for the poison was found at the scene.

Condemned Criminal Dies of Natural Causes in Prison

Manchester's Strangeways Prison announced the death of convicted murderer and burglar Selden by natural causes in the early hours this morning. He had been suffering with fever since the end of October. Alerted by the shouts of his fellow cellmate, medical staff arrived to find him already dead, before his capital punishment could be carried out.
